History of the Bloodfalcons
Ivan got his name from the book Ivanhoe
Bloodfalcons, or as they are more commonly known, the EBF got its humble beginnings as a small but fanatically loyal mercenaries company. This company took residence in the woodland Duchy of Darkpine, in the lands known today as Dur-Demarion. The mercenaries guild made a deal with the Duke of the land that they would be Darkpine boarder patrol in lieu of taxation from the government. This mercenaries guild was known as the Brotherhood of the Falcon, which still exists to this day. The Elite Bloodfalcon was a title that could be gained within the Brotherhood, showing the prowess and standing of a warrior. Only the Best of the Brotherhood could hope to achieve Bloodfalcon status. The original founders of the EBF are Zorlac, Blackhawk, Rand'al Thor, and Ivan. Many things has changed since those simple days though. The Bloodfalcons disjointed themselves from the brotherhood after the War of the Rose. After treachery from the Duke of Darkpine the Bloodfalcons assassinated him under the noses of the Hell Hound guards, the Dukes personal Elite guard. After that, Ivan, Blackhawk, Rand and Zorlac abandoned the Bloodfalcons name and it stood dormant for many a year.Blackhawk, moved on at that point after a short tour with the Society of the Black Rose, leaving Darkpine to its own vices. Zorlac did much the same and not a word has been heard of him since. Rand'al Thor and Ivan was all that remained of the original unit. At that time Onyx and Rac'he were asked to join, and the Bloodfalcons were reborn.
